Therapy dogs give something special to enhance the health and well-being of others.

Therapy dogs are now being used as part of the Hospice program. Early research indicates that they have been good for the patient although it has been difficult on the dog when the patient dies.

 It has been clinically proven that through petting, touching and talking with animals, people's blood pressure is lowered, stress is relieved and depression is eased.

 Bailey has helped children overcome school phobia, reading anxiety, separation anxiety and even assisted some children who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. She has also been used for a behavior modification program in the younger grades.

Bailey is 7 years old. She loves to play with a ball or rope toy, swim in any kind of water, go on walks and eat treats. People have given her many collars so she is always dressed appropriately for any occasion. She even has an Eagles and Notre Dame collar!
